The MRVSA’s Fall Recreational Program is open to players of all ability levels, K – 6th grade. The emphasis is on learning the game, developing skills, and having fun. Equal playing time for all players is stressed.

Coaches will receive rosters on or around August 31st and will contact players over the Labor Day weekend. Your child must be registered by deadline (see below) in order to be placed on a roster.
The first practices of the season generally will be held during the first full week of September.
The tentative practice schedule is included below. Coaches will confirm all days and times. Individual coaches might need to slightly modify the times for their teams.
U8 (all 1st/2nd grade) – Mad River Park, Coaches to choose day/time
U10 Girls (3rd/4th grade) – Mad River Park on Tu/Th from 5-6:30pm
U10 Boys (3rd/4th grade) – Mad River Park on Mo/We from 5-6:30pm
U12 Girls (5th/6th grade) – Mad River Park on Mo/We from 5-6:30pm
U12 Boys (5th/6th grade) – Mad River Park on Tu/Th from 5-6:30p
Equipment needed for your soccer player:
#4 ball (#3 ball for Kindergartners)
Cleats suggested, but not required.
Games: All games are played on Saturdays, home field is Mad River Park for all age groups.
First games will be Saturday September 8th and will run through the end of October.
Fees: $50.00 until Monday July 30, 2017. Late registration from July 31 until registration closes on Aug 15th is $70.00

PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM:
MRVSA will also host incoming fall kindergarteners and incoming Pre-K students to a series of fun, recreational soccer clinics (child needs to be at least 4 years old at start of program). These clinics will serve as an introduction to the sport of soccer, as well as an opportunity for advancement of skill development for those youngsters that played last year.
Dates: Saturday mornings starting Sept 15, running for 7 weeks.
